FROM MONDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2025- FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 2026, YOU CAN ONLY REDOCKET YOUR CASE FROM 9AM-11:30 AM. DURING THESE TWO WEEKS, DO NOT COME TO THE HALL OF JUSTICE IN THE AFTERNOON TO TRY TO REDOCKET YOUR CASE AS THERE ARE NO AFTERNOON DOCKETS.
If you do not have an attorney currently representing you on the case that you need to re-docket, below is the process for how to re-docket your District Court Misdemeanor, Felony, or Traffic Case.
Option 1: Go the third floor of the Hall of Justice and speak with a Case Managers to request a case be re-docketed between the hours of 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m Monday through Friday. Please have some form of identification with you.
Option 2: You can email your request to JEFFCOcasemanagers@kycourts.net. by 3pm Monday through Friday for a response same day. Please note, if you submit your re-docket request via email and have an active warrant, you must come in person to redocket.
If you are emailing in your request, you will be required to provide the following information:
- contact information including name, address, and phone (if available)
- date of birth
- last four digits of Social Security Number
- basis for re-docket request
REASONS CASE CANNOT BE REDOCKETED FOR A CERTAIN DATE:
- Case is already scheduled to be on the docket within 24 hours
- You request that the case be redocketed on the same date the case is scheduled in Court
