****NOTICE OF CHANGE TO CIVIL DISTRICT MOTION HOUR FILING DEADLINES due to volume increase in the Civil District Division.

Under the current Jefferson District Court Local Rules, Rule 3 Civil Practice 304, Motion Practice is every Friday at 10:30 a.m.(Forcible Detainer motion hour)  and 11:30 a.m. (Civil District motion hour)

Effective for the Motion Hour beginning March 7, 2025 and thereafter, all Motions to be heard at Motion Hour  shall be filed and clocked no later than noon on the preceding Friday, with service of copies to be mailed by Thursday or hand-delivered by noon on Friday. Unless otherwise ordered by the Court, motions filed after noon on such Friday shall be automatically passed to the next following motion hour.
