Please review the following information carefully:

The Hall of Justice is now open. If your case is scheduled for Court, you may appear in person with the below exception.

If you have recently tested positive for Covid-19 or are experiencing any symptoms, do not appear in person. Instead, appear via Zoom using the instructions below depending on the courtroom.

Effective November 11th, 2023, there will no longer be in-person viewing of Arraignment Court at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections (LMDC). The Observation Room is being re-purposed by LMDC in order to expand their mental health services for in-custody defendants.  Future observation of Arraignment Court proceedings will take place entirely via Zoom.  The cameras have recently been upgraded and Zoom integrated.  This will lead to a better viewing of the Court proceeding for everyone.  Anyone can log in to the Arraignment Court proceedings by utilizing the following:

To call in via landline or cell phone: Please dial 1-312-626-6799.  When prompted, the meeting ID is 516 499 8163.  The passcode is 008.  Please make sure to mute yourself when you come into the meeting room (*6 toggle mute off and on).

Effective as of December 1, 2021:

All defendants in misdemeanor, felony, and DUI cases must appear in person unless otherwise instructed by the Judge. Defendants appearing in the afternoon for traffic cases, other than for a DUI case, may appear either in person or via Zoom using the login information below. The only exception is defendants appearing in Courtrooms 302 and 102. Defendants with cases in these courtrooms may appear in person or via Zoom in all cases using the login information below.

Do not call into any courtroom’s Zoom meeting unless you are intending to appear in or observe a case in that courtroom. Individual courts do not have the ability to transfer or provide details on another court’s Zoom meeting.

If you are Covid symptomatic, Covid positive, or subject to quarantine due to CDC guidance or doctor’s requirement, you must email the Court at least 24 hours in advance at jeffcodistrictcourtadmin@kycourts.net to request a Zoom appearance in any other criminal or DUI case. This email inbox is only for requesting a Zoom appearance due to Covid.
