The Jefferson District Court term and our justice partners have worn PURPLE this week to support Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence Awareness. October is Domestic Violence awareness month and Thursday, October 19, 2023 was #PURPLETHURSDAY – A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED DAY FOR EVERYONE TO WEAR PURPLE TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST DOMESTICE VIOLENCE AND SHOW SUPPORT for survivors of crime.   We stand in solidarity with our justice partners to bring awareness to this important issue. Special thanks to the Center for Women and Families in Louisville for providing purple ribbons for all justice partners.
